The Opportunity

Albania is a former Soviet bloc country where the oil and gas industry was terriblymismanaged by former communist bureaucrats. As we have seen with Bankers throughrevisiting Albania’s very rich oil fields and implementing modern Western technology, the full potential of Europe’s richest onshore oil field can be fully realized.

Petromanas is exploring for giant-sized oil and gas prospects that could hold upwards of 6 billion barrels of oil from those areas as predicted by both seismic and an independent valuation (Gustavson). Their work will focus on deep sub-thrust targets as well as shallow prospects.

I have noticed on the message boards some new investors are confused and are unable to get info. on PMI.  Many have also been asking about their website which can't be found?? Well, I hope this will help. 

How Petromana Energy came to be: This is a letter from the CEO to shareholders of Manas Petroleum.

Dear friends and fellow shareholders,
We have closed the transaction for the financing of the Albanian project. Although structured differently, this transaction is in general consistent with Manas' business model and strategy by farming out the majority of a project while retaining an interest between 25% and 35% carried until discovery. This business model enables Manas to reduce its financial risk and still participate in the enormous up-side potential of the various projects. In the Albanian transaction Manas begins with a significant ownership interest which could increase with time and operational success to as much as 50%. Additionally, Manas retains a strong management position within Petromanas, where Manas is filling the positions of CEO and CFO and nominated 3 of the 6 seats on the board.

What does this mean for Manas?
With the closing of the Albanian project financing, Petromanas has assumed Manas' debts and Manas now goes forward debt-free.

Manas Petroleum created Petromanas -PMI by creating a spin-out of their Albanian assets.  PMI now controls Manas's Albanian Projects. I believe that a website is in the works for Petromanas so keep a watch.  In the mean time you should be about to get all your info. from the Manas Petroleum website.
